Apple Exchange NOW in Fernie

The Community EcoGarden, the Cottonwood Tree, Advocates for Local Living and Bear Aware have teamed up to create the Fernie Apple Exchange. The great successes of the program last year has allowed them to move from offering just a physical board to the addition of a online resource for the community to easily access.

"It's so simple" said Bear Aware coordinator Kathy Murray, "It connects our community and ensures the many apples in our community feed families, not bears".
